Leslie Electrical Services was founded by Kyle Leslie on the back of six years in industrial electrical. What started as building control cabinets in a cold shed in Mt Dandenong is now a purpose-built industrial electrical and automation business in Lilydale.

Learning the trade
Before starting Leslie Electrical, Kyle spent six years working in industrial electrical, learning the trade on real sites, on real jobs, before setting out on his own.
Founded in a shed
Leslie Electrical Services started in a shed in Mt Dandenong, building control cabinets by hand. It was cold, it was small, and it worked.
Clay Manufacturing Facility
A major automation project, and the biggest job the business had taken on by dollar value. It proved Leslie Electrical could deliver at an enterprise level, and it gave us the confidence, and the workload, to bring on more staff to keep up.
Drafting brought in-house
Rather than outsource design work, we trained our own team to handle it. Every drawing and every layout is now done under our own roof.
Engineering brought in-house
Adding an in-house engineer gave us the ability to take on full automation projects end to end, with all design work handled internally. No outsourcing, no handballing.
A purpose-built home in Lilydale
We’ve moved from that shed in Mt Dandenong into a factory in Lilydale, purpose-built with dedicated office space and a dedicated area for building and testing control cabinets.
Everything we do is backed up on paper, not just on site.
