Our client, an Australian clay building products manufacturer, needed a compliant, efficient, and fully modernised clay block production line. The imported machinery for the job arrived outdated, unsafe, and not suitable for commercial use in Australia. It lacked compliant electrical systems, automation capability, safety controls, and production-ready integration, so it couldn’t be legally operated or scaled without a complete transformation.
A full electrical and automation rebuild, in-house
Designed full production layout and electrical documentation
Built a custom MSB and 5-chamber MCC for power and control
Developed automation for mixing, pressing and pugmill operation
Installed remote I/O and optimised cable routing
Delivered PLd Cat 3 safety systems and machine risk assessment
