Our client operates a large organic oil refining facility and needed a fully integrated electrical and automation system for their external tank farm. The new system had to connect seamlessly with their existing SCADA platform, support multiple stakeholders including offshore software teams, and deliver safe, reliable control across a wide outdoor site with long cable runs and harsh environmental exposure.
Outdoor-rated control, built for expansion
Collaborated with on-site teams, senior management and offshore programmers to define requirements
Designed complete electrical schematics for wiring, control architecture and network communications
Built two dedicated control panels: one for VSDs and motor control, one for PLC, safety and I/O
